Initial inquiry & fit

Engagement letter — signed inside Intuit Link

The engagement letter is reviewed and signed within Intuit Link, defining the scope of work before documents are exchanged.

Secure document exchange

Initial documents (W-2s, 1099s, prior-year returns) and intake questions are completed in Intuit Link; the SmartVault portal is used for ongoing secure exchange throughout the year.

Preparation

The return is prepared from the information provided; questions are handled by email as they arise.

Review

Your return is provided for review.

E-signature & filing

Returns are e-signed via DocuSign through ProConnect, authorizing e-file. Once filed and accepted, a client copy is archived in SmartVault for ongoing access.
